Exhibition Runs from 4 March to 30 April 2017 South Square Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition of abstract paintings by artists Crow Versus Crow and malorymaki. This collection of recent and new work will be sound tracked live by experimental musicians as part of the opening event on the evening of Friday 3 March 2017.Both artists work in an open-ended way where each mark informs the next. Crow Versus Crow’s visual work is rooted in the exploration of the material properties of paint and an aesthetic response to colour, texture and form. malorymaki’s work is similarly intuitive and considered, creating small pieces each still with room for experimentation, chance and surprise.3rd March – live music, food, cocktails whilst we open two new shows in the gallery space.
LIVE MUSIC on 3 March 7- 9 pm includes Sophie Cooper, Posset, and Stuart Chalmers.
